Summary: Naga–India Affairs, the nomenclature itself starts with an intriguing dichotomy. Normally the description should be state-state or a people–people relationship. But we have here a people–state relationship or an equation, which is a dichotomy. Any student of chemistry will say that this is an “unbalanced equation, unstable and violates the natural law of mass” – there naturally will be friction and reactions. Without resolving the basis of this relationship, the “Naga-India Affairs” is likely to remain as a stormy sea. And this is certainly not a situation that anybody wants.
